Twice baked is where you slit the potatoe down the middle, scoop out the inside and I like to mix in cheese and scallions then put it back in the shells and bake longer. Mmmmm.

Edit: It seems you answered your own question!

Baked, fried, mashed, roasted... I like potatoes!

Add garlic, butter and cheese to mashed and I'm happy!

Well, I might be slightly mad, but at least Carrie's joined me on this one!

I'm glad to have shared my vast knowledge of potato terms!

Yeah, sorry about that!
Thank you for giving me a name for them though!

I didn't realise that they had a name other than cheesy potatoes!

Baked, halved and the insides scooped out and mashed with cheese, spooned back into the skins and grilled until golden!
You are missing the bacon and green onions.
They are also called stuffed potatoes in some places. Twice baked/stuffed potatoes are my favorite, but potatoes in foil with onion soup mix and french fries aren't far behind.

Well I just said that because it's the description that most people would recognize. I actually do that recipe in the microwave now because foil is so messy and unpredictible depending on BBQ's.

1. Cube 2 lbs. potatoes into roughly ¾ inch pieces
2. Add one packet of onion soup mix and stir it up in a big bowl
3. (optional) Add miscellaneous spices, such as oregano, basil, cayenne etcetera.
5. Add a ¼ cup of olive oil or butter
6. Transfer to a microwave dish with lid.
7. Cook for 10 minutes. Then stir.
8. Cook for another 10 minutes.

(Cooking times may vary slightly.)
