This morning I learned some terrible news. A student that I have trained for the past 3 years was killed in a hit and run. He was such a wonderful, positive person and had such a passion for his flying. He was going to be graduating this June and was going to go on to become a flight instructor.

I'm having such a difficult time understanding why??, why was he taken?...he had such a bright future ahead.

I'm sorry if I'm rambling but I'm still in shock.

I would like to ask if you could spare some prayers and vibes for his fellow classmates, friends and family.

I am sorry and I too went through all the ? you speak of over the death of my Husband at 31. I guess God just had something else in mind. I know it is not comforting to hear that but I feel there is no other reason to take a person so young and full of life and promise. My condolences to him and his family and you and yours.

The cats house, we just pay the mortgage..
Tracy I am so sorry. I lost my best friend in a car crash and I'll never understand why it happened and why that day was his day to go. Infact when I think about it I feel so much anger.
Life just has a funny way of showing us all that we are not invinsible, we can be taken at any time. This is why we should be thankful for what we have and live each day as though it's our last. Not many of us actually do though.
My thoughts are with you, and his family and friends during this heartbreaking time.

I'm very sorry to hear of your husbands loss and to you too Lauren (Pombina) on the passing of your friend.

It's so terribly sad, and I'm having a hard time really believing it right now, I keep thinking...it must be a mistake, it couldn't be him. I did a simulator lesson with him on Monday night and he was his regular smiling self. The two of us were always spending extra time after his lesson talking shop (all about planes...as both of us are such chatterboxes when it comes to airplanes). He was the type of student that made you love your job.

As far as the man that hit him...he has been found (his car is heavily damaged which is what led police to him) and he is also a young man (they are both 23).

The way I feel I need to look at it is that he was needed for something greater. Thank you so much to everyone for their wonderful thoughts and prayers.
