My husband and I rescued week old ferals yesterday early evening. You can read the full story of why herehttp://http://www.thecatsite.com/for...ad.php?t=82767
Sorry about the lack of pics.

They were dehydrated and their little tummies were shrunken in and wrinkly but they are pear shaped now and all but one now have very good skin snap. They are also much more active than I would have imagined they could be, last night they just cried and lay there.

The runt is the one I'm most worried about because she has 1 second skin snap back, isn't fully covered in hair yet, only lost her umbilical cord tonight and is only 3.3 oz after several feedings. She is definately a fighter though, she stays on top of the pile. I don't know if I should pull her so she can conserve her energy for getting bigger or if that would hurt her.

Only one has pooped yet and it seemed hard. I'm full body stimulating for 15 strokes before feedings and a 60 after. They all urinate... alot! Is constipation a side effect of KMR or BeneVac? Could it be from going without feedings for awhile? Would you recomend a homeopathic laxative or a store bought one? When should I give it?
Thanks In Advance!

Definitely worthy of a call to the vet. Never a good idea to use any product to regulate digestive issues without consulting a vet first, especially with young kittens. You could so easily go from constipation to runny stools...and dehydration...just not worth taking the risk.

Good luck to you! And keep us updated.
