I honestly thought I was in labour last night. I was putting kevin to bed and I started having bad cramps. I tried to ignore them as Kevin was almost settled and if I disturbed him it would make for a rough night. I actually had tears from the pain. After I got Kevin settled, I decided to try to lie down to see if that made things feel better. I didn't even tell my hubby as he wasn't feeling well and I didn't want ot worry him. Let's just say i didn't get much sleep last night. I am pretty sure it wasn't labour or even Braxton Hicks (which aren't painful). It was just some weird painful crampy, which I am still having on and off this morning. I did not want to come to work today, but with only 2 weeks left here, I didn't want to not show up. The bus ride in didn't help matters - the bus hit every single pot hole between my house and work (and if you know Toronto roads that is a lot of potholes)! People were getting tossed around like crazy - I wasn't the only one complaining about the trip in.

I hope this pain gets better! If not I will make a doctor's appointment. The baby is probably just in some type of wierd position, pushing on something that doesn't like being pushed!

Oh my gosh Adrienne!!

I think you should give your doctor a call (if nothing else)...you can never be too safe!

Ok - I have an appointment for early this afternoon. I'll get hubby to drive me so I don't need to take the bus! She doesn't think it is labour but says if it gets worse to go to the hospital.

I hope everything is okay. I'll be thinking about you and the little one.

Ady, I hope you're feeling a little better by now, but I have to agree with Phenomsmom about going to the doctor!

I remember when I was pregnant with my son...he was lying in a very unusual position during the last part of my pregnancy, and there was no position that I could be in that seemed comfortable to me. I was especially uncomfortable when I had to walk or move around. Is that what's happening to you?

That is what the problem is usually, but this is a different cramping pain. I leave in half an hour for the doctor - poor sick hubby is picking me up so I don't have to take the bus. The pain is pretty regular - not like contractions - it is steady.
