but yet another cat lover!!!!

Hello, my name is Cynthia and I have 5 cats and they are my childern!!! I have Kitty, Thumper, Alleycat, Oscar Madison, and Bigboy. Bigboy is at my mother's home as a foster just until the weather gets better(he is a stray I have taken in). I was wondering if anyone has ever had a cat with a clubbed foot....Thumper who is my baby was born with a clubbed foot, it looks like she is waling on a bent elbow. She was born like this and it has stopped her from being like any of my other cats. I consider her special and when I was looking to get Kitty a play mate, Thumper was having a hard time getting adopted because of her disability.....:-( I took her right away and she is healthy as all the rest!!!!! It is great to find a site that I do not sound crazy talking about my kids, as some probably think I am when it comes to them...Alleycat, Oscar Madison, and Bigboy were all stray that I started taking care of and over time they became mine. I have had all of them fixed, which you all know is so important. These cats make my life so happy, Thumper thinks I really am her mom, she even sucks on my finger!!!!! Any answers on the clubbed foot would be great and of course I would love to hear about anyone else's children too....Cynthia

What a wonderful person you are to let so many kitties into your home. I refer to my kitties as my children as well... and can you believe it, but my mother considers them her grandchildren! Sorry I don't know much about clubbed feet... I hope you get the answers you are looking for!

Hi there! Sounds like you love your kitties as much as everybody else here! We are all 'crazy cat people'
I'm not sure about your kitty with a club foot but if you post in one of the Health and Nutrition or Care and Grooming forums (not sure which one but if it's in the wrong place one of our mods will kindly move it for you) somebody will no doubt have advice for you.

Thumper is such a special little kitty - it would be great if you could share experiences with someone -although it's not a think that I have heard of. Perhaps you could start a post in the Health and Nutrition forum - you might get some feedback there
