What's a vacation? I'll be off work for almost a year with the new baby, but with the amount of poopie diapers I'll be changing, I don't think it will be a vacation!

A vacation is where you pack a suitcase, either make airline reservations or pack your car, and take off for at least a week of fun, sun and relaxation!

Kevin and the new baby - diapers times 2!!!!! Let's not forget the hissy fits Kevin will have adjusting to his competition. Why do I have a feeling my house will be a battle zone for the next few (18) years!

I was thinking of starting a thread like this!

We will be going somewhere the last week of August. Nothing too extravagant. I ordered a lot of guidebooks online last night and need to order a few more today. We are also thinking of going to Bar Harbor, Maine for a long weekend in May.

No plans for me either Susie! I may go on little day trips, like Cedar Point (haven't been there in about 6 years!) and I would love to go to Windsor or Mountaineer gambling

I love Cedar Point - has my fav coaster (the Raptor). I haven't been in about 6 years also. We used to go every summer (hubby and I) as we have relative who used to live in Cleveland. I miss it - we will go again when the kids are older!

I'm planning on several! A bunch of short weekenders (camping or visiting friends that I haven't seen in 2 years!) and then right before I go back to school I want to take one big one!!

I haven't been anywhere for well over a year now, and even that was just a 2 day trip. Before that was a year and that was at least 4 days!

I used to go every year too! I don't like the Raptor though- it scrambles my brains
a little to jarring for me- the last time I went was the first year of the Milennium and that was awesome! I like that and the Magnum- did you hear they're selling the Demon Drop?

How can they sell it? I loved the Magnum! My next fav is the Mean Streak - that has to be the best wooden coaster ever!

I love the Blue Streak too, cause when you go over the hills it feels like you're going to fly right out of the roller coaster!
sounds scary but its very exhilerating! I guess they're selling the Demon Drop cause its kind of a lot like that other drop one, can't remember what that one's called
but it'll be weird to walk in and not see it right up front

We booked our holiday to Cuba, got to wait 'til November tho'.

Other than that we have a weekend in June at our Harley Chapter Rally. That will be camping so here's hoping for a dry weekend

We've kinda got one planned. We'll be going to Arizona for two weeks at the end of June to spend some time with my in-laws. They're wonderful people, but they're getting older and their health is fading. We're going to give my sister-in-law, who lives with them and takes care of them, a few weeks off. So, it'll be a vacation, but probably not a very restful one.

Hubby and I are off to Austria for two weeks in August
I can't wait lots of walking in the mountains, beautiful scenery, castles, waterfalls and beautiful views. Plus we'll be visiting Salzburg

We are going away for just one night in June when we will be spending the night in Birmingham as we'll be going to see Art Garfunkel in Concert

I'm taking a week off from work, but I'm not going anywhere. Not enough money to go where I want to go, so I'm staying home.
