Lil Miss is gone

I went in there to check on the and saw the calico away from the others in a coner of the box ,so I picked her up to put her with the others and she was dead. So when I picked her up to wrap her to be buried I noticed that she had blood around her little nose and mouth. I just can't help wondering what happened or what could I have done to save her?
I buried her a said a prayer but I am still really sad. I don't think Missy has even noticed yet (do the know when they lose a kitten?)
The will be a week on thursday I will try to get pics up asap They are getting so big.

OMGosh I am so sorry. I have no clue what could of happened, but I am saying prayers for them all even the ones in heaven.

I am sorry to hear that..Do you think there could have been some kind of fight, either with momma and baby, or baby and baby? I would only worry if something could happen to another one

Not to sound gross but I know in humans the blood from the nose is sign of exfictiation (sp) or trauma to the brain.

I am so sorry. I hope that things go better for the other babies, just know it isn't anything you can prevent, sometimes we lose the babies no matter how hard we pray or how much intervention we give. It is sometimes hard to accept that the little life just wasn't meant to be. They all felt your love and Missy's love for the short time they were here.
You are in my thoughts. ((HUGS))

I am sorry for the loss of the little kitten. As others have said, there probley wasn't any thing you could have done. Keeping you and missy's babies in my thoughts. Have you named all the kitten? I would like to see pictures of them.

Aw, I'm so sorry, sweetie. Hugs and kisses to baby Lil Miss. There's nothing you could've done - it's not your fault. So many babies don't make it, and no one can tell why. Thank you for loving her, because that is what she'll remember.
