Just had to share...

I was gone all weekend watching my little cousin wrestling in the NYWA State Wrestling Competition.... he's in 6th grade and had not lost a match all year and he has been working all year to make it to this point. He had 3 great matches he won throught the weekend and....


He's the 108 weight bracket State Champion!

He's worked SO hard and I was so happy that I was there to cheer him on and watch him win!

I just had to share my good news, I'm still bursting with excitement!

Thanks everyone, he has worked so hard - especially not losing a match all year! He's been doing some weight lifting (just light - not heavy stuff!) but it totally showed this year, he's building muscle and is 10x's stronger - its going to payoff next year in high school - he already has a guarenteed spot on the Varsity team for next year

I'm so proud of him!

I love watching wrestling - my brothers and cousins (i have 6 boy cousins) who all have or still do wrestle - its a big thing in our family!

My aunt is going to send me pics tomorrow so I'll be posting some fun pics of the matches

I talked to my aunt tonite and she said that he hasn't stopped smiling since its all happened!
