Haven't posted in awhile, but I sure need you guys now! I am Libby in North Carolina and I have 11 indoor cats (all spayed/neutered and well taken care of) Thursday night, someone dumped a mama cat that I thought was pregnant and 2 kittens (approx 7 - 8 weeks old)

All these cats are Hemmingway cats. The kittens had 6 toes on front and 5 on each back!! The mama had 6 toes on front paws. These kittens almost look like they have TWO paws on each front leg. SO CUTE!

I took one cat to my vet's to be tested and cared for and put up for adoption (a great program they have). The other kitten hide from me and didn't get to go to the vet for adoption. Once I took one good look at his cute BIG feet, I knew he was a keeper for sure!

The mama cat seems to be full of milk and I know her breast must hurt. I THINK these 2 kittens belonged to her and perhaps they nursed too long. She isn't pregnant, but just full of milk?

How long will it take for her to get rid of it and is there anything I can do?

Thanks for your time, I know I was long-winded,..I am just excited over these cats. I plan on keeping the kitten and gonna find a good name for him. I am gonna find a GOOD home for the beautiful and unusually marked and colored mama cat (I hope)

Maybe you could contact a rescue group the will surely have orphaned kittens this spring. A mama cat will often nurse kittens that are not her own, she could end up being a life saver to kittens that would otherwise not have a chance. It iwll also give her a chance to be well taken care of and adopted.
