Is it possible for the all the kittens to be still born if the first is? Or is it more likely the rest are fine?

I can't tell you for sure the others will be ok, but 11:00 pm 4/4 My cat gave birth to a tiny still born baby. She didn't have labor again until 6:30 am 4/6 she had five kitten all born alive, One did die shortly after, but I still have four live kittens that all seem to be doing well, so hopefully this gives you a little hope. It is possible for them to have one or two still borns and the rest be ok, but it isn't unheard of for them all to be still born, so just prepare your self for either out come. I hope the rest are all well Good luck to you and your cat!

Thank you so much! That does make me feel so much better to hear your story! Yes I am bracing myself for stillborns, but I'm praying for healthy kittens! Thanks again!

I definately forgot to mention that she should she a vet!
I had my cat to two different vets that said she was ok and discussed her health with him. She went a long time between her first kitten and when she finally delivered the rest, but a vet determined that it was safe for her. she and kittens are fine, but every delivery is different.

Yes I figured a vet would be able to let her now if the others where OK. I am sure at the vet if they are not OK the vet would let her know. That way it would save mom from any pain or death from retaining the kittens or a placenta.
