I'm a little wary of Wellness because their foods contain garlic. There is a lot of debate over whether the small amount of processed garlic is harmful, but I choose not to risk it with my kitties. Iams products usually have byproducts, so I avoid them. Out of that group, since I am not familiar with Technical, I would pick Innova.

The "Techni-Cal" brand looks like (if I found the right one) it is sold in Canada by Royal Canin. I couldn't find an ingredient list, but I don't like their brands of cat or dog foods, so it wouldn't get my vote anyways.

Out of all the ones listed above I would use Innova. Wellness is also a good choice, but they recently underwent a recipe change and their formula isn't as good as it was previously (although still very good). I've highlighted the ingredients I don't like for the foods above- remember cats are carnivores and the more meat they have the better.

With Innova there is barley and it is a close cousin of wheat. If your cat has a wheat allergy or has yeast problems you should be wary. As for Wellness, it has garlic in it and there is quite a debate about whether garlic is harmful or helpful to dogs and cats. It all comes down to personal choice on these two.

My vote goes to Innova. Wellness second, Techni-Cal third and IAMS last. I love Innova, especially their EVO line, which is a grain free formula. Wellness is good, but I find it contains too many grains for my liking, I'm not familiar with Techni-Cal and IAMS' ingredients suck and they do animal testing, which I do not support. I feed Innova EVO canned to my foster kitty and she does wonderfully on it. I also fed it to my Min Pin for years and she did well on it. Yup, so that's my opinion.
