Just received two calls for adopting the babies
I hate this part!! I always have very mixed emotions when adopting out little-ones. Part of me is so happy that they will be adopted from my home (or any other foster home) directly into a good loving home & never experience even 1-day in a shelter/adoption center; the other part of me is soooo sad to see them leave.

It will be OK. Just think of it this way now you can help more kittens in need.

They are so absolutely adorable, and I love the names!

By the way, the last time I had to give up a foster I was hysterical. I try to keep it together in front of the rescue people, but I had had Fiona so long, and she was such a love, and I had gotten so attached to her, and I knew she'd be miserable in the cage in petsmart, and couldn't help feeling like she'd wonder what she did wrong and didn't I love her, and on and on and on.

The one thing that made me feel better (not much, but a little) was when the woman from pals said to me, "Snowflake needs you more right now."

She was right, and you've probably seen my posts about Snowflake.

By the way, I just was told today that Fiona is now in a forever home.

And the director of the rescue is severely obsessive compulsive, so they do a REAL thorough investigation. LOL Moreso than any other rescue I've come across. So I know it will be a great forever home.

Yes...I, too, have had those MUST "choke the tears back moments" when giving-up a foster for adoption....guess that's why I have a resident crew of 7

NO MORE THOUGH!!

Although it is very sad to see a foster be adopted, I truly understand that I am only one spoke in the wheel. I may be a part of their beginning but I am not their end.

Will see what happens...spoke to both women who are interested in Albert & Einstein. One woman can only adopt one and the 2nd woman is determined to adopt both...so...2nd woman definitely has the priority here. Will keep you posted.

Have three more fosters coming on Friday

I just received a deposit for Albert & Einstein to be adopted

Both will stay with me for another 2-weeks and then off they go to their new home...

Will be choking back the tears the day they leave but I am sooo happy that they have been adopted straight out of foster care (not an adoption ctr/shelter) and that they will be going home with a very kind lady who will love them
