I have only been here for a about 30 minutes and have seen alot of interest in raw feeding. I would like to reccomend some resources for those looking to learn more.

Thank you for the links. Just one general word of caution - do your homework well before starting your cat on a raw diet. As with anything, there are cons and pros. Do your research, using the links provided in the previous post, but also using your own searches in Google.

Talk to your vet too and make sure you and your vet are comfortable with the decision.

I have a question, and I admit I haven't done much research on this subject.

If eating raw meat is bad for humans and can give up salmonella and other nasty things, why is it safe for cats?

Humans were not designed for raw meat consuption as we dont have the enzymes needed to break it down nor the short digestive tract to get it in and out fast
