Okay.I have a Photobucket account. I resized my pictures before I sent them the first time, for example, snuggle kitten two was 475 pixels x 395 at 300 dpi for an uncompressed file size of 562.88 KB. Sent it through photobucket, came out ittybitty. Same for the rest . Then I sent the original un-resized photo (same picture as example ) to Photobucket, and got the same result . I know next to nothing about computers, please help! Oh, and I am using HP photo and imaging, can switch to Microsoft Picture It if I need to.

what i usually do with mine is this: i open the pic in MS paint, select all, resize to approximately 3x4 inches [visually appropriate size] copy, open new, don't save changes, paste into new pic & save as with a new name. then that's the pic i upload to photobucket. clear as mud?

I've done this, too..resized something until it's a teeny dot on the screen With Photobucket, it's important to remember that the resizing doesn't take effect until you have completely logged out and logged back in to the site. I'll send you a bit of resizing info that may be helpful

Photobucket will automatically reduce anything that big... try saving at a lower dpi

And really random question (but i know people have done it before) but is it showing the thumbnail or the actual pic

Actual pic-Done that elsewhere, too I resized them to the same size I use when I load them straight from my computer to my posts in my Boxer dog forum. I guess that was why I was baffled.

PS to dawnofsierra-thanks, got it, sent you a PM .
