They make this for cats/dogs and I was wondering if anyone has used it and if so do you like it.

Since this is mainly used as a behavior modification tool, I'll move this to Behavior. I know there are quite a few who have and do use them, but I'm not one of them.

I have heard only good things about them. I hear they do wonders in mult-cat households. Here's a link to that product on Amazon.com. If you buy through that link, TCS gets a commission.

Comfort Zone With Feliway and Refills

Even if you don't buy through them, take a minute to read that page, it has some reviews by people who have used the product.

I have used them for my cat Cindy. We got her from the shelter and she's kind of timid. We had to take her to the vet and then give her medication at home. It was very stressful for her and she ran up under the bed, where she stayed there for about 3 days. I tried talking to her, laying beside the bed, etc. but no dice. At that point, I decided to get a comfort zone plug in. I plugged it in near the bed, and shortly thereafter she came out and didn't go back under. I had 4 of them at one time, in the rooms she spent the most time in. I think it's done wonders for her.

Mine should be here in a few days so I will let you know my opinion. I hope it works.

The plug in releases a soothing pheremone into the room that will stop cat conflicts, calm cats down, stop a cat from spraying or just comfort a stressed cat. I use 4 of these in my home on a constant basis. I have over a dozen cats. I have also used the ones for puppies but didn't notice much of a change in behavior, but I had a really mischievous stubborn puppy at the time.

I love this product, and have always recommended it for anyone contacting me about behavioral issues with their cats.

Cool.
I will have to keep that in mind, in case I ever need it. For that matter, I have a friend w/ two cats who are rather skittish and nervous. It could help calm them down and improve their problems substantially (both cats have problems that would take a long post to explain).

I just recently received one that I ordered for my moms dog. He has separation anxiety and we are hoping this will help calm him while she is at work. I won't see them until Easter so I haven't used it yet. But I will post again with results later.

i don't use it all the time, but i've used it in the past & am currently using it. i think it definitely helps calm the cats down - hissing/yowling has gone down considerably since i got the new plug-in & the refill for the plug-in i already had. Pixel was showing stress signs since Chip came, & they've also diminished since i plugged in the diffusers.

I used two diffusers for first time when I adopted Claire in Nov. They really did seem to work to keep everyone calm and the introductions went much more smoothly than when I adopted Peter.

We have an almost 2 year old male, neutred, named Jakub. We bought the plug ins to make him a bit more peaceful and calm, since he is a bit on the angry side. We noticed no change in his behaviour, unfortunately.

Well he is angry only towards me, I guess it is because I take care of him and he does not really sees me as human, at least that is what some people said. He just gets extremelly angry sometimes, his nostrils will widen, his pupils will get big and he just attacks, he does not play, he attacks, to the point where I get bruises, scratches deep enough that my skin bleeds and so on. And nothing I do will make him stop, everything just makes him angrier, the only thing that works is toothpaste, he is scared of that, the smell. The bruises and everything is not because I let him it is just that by the time I get him off of me he does the damage.
