Six kittens. Will be a week old by Friday morning. A few of them just don't seem to push their way in and get their share. they are not crying for it. And mom checks them often but doesn't stay with them as long. I would think that the "stronger" ones would get full and that would leave room for the others. Perhaps there isn't anything wrong. Thoughts?

How feral are they?

Depending on the answer...

When I took in a pregnant stray 15 years ago, she was somewhat starved and although she tried wasn't up to nursing 6 kitten.

I found that bottle feeding them kmr once or twice a day (the bigger ones needed it less, one or two not much at all) and 2x a day for the little runts, was enough to suplement Mom and the kittens were happy and healthy and grew well.

Mom had no problem with me doing that, but I don't know how the queen you have there is.

Might have to bottle feed KMR. Also get a food scale and weight them. A weak kitten will not have the strength to cry or eat... Give mom kitten food.

Hey David....I only had 3 kittens with mom foster mom and even with 3....1 of them was very aggressive and would push the other two away. I also recommend you get a scale and weigh the kittens and get some KMR from Petsmart and feed the ones that seem to be behind in weight.
