We'll be switching as soon as they are in our neighborhhod.

MIL has it, it is fast.
I will have to call and see what their plans are. Looking closer, they only mention Riverton as participating... I'm 2 houses down in SJ so hopefully they'll still let me get it!

WOW cable internet here. Had RR before, but WOW is $20 less per month.

The thing that gets me is cable internet is running into your home on the same connection as your cable TV...and there's a seperate charge for this that costs MORE? That's why I chose WOW, they give you a discount the more services you have.

I have DSL. I think I missed the 20 character rule. But I think I know what it is.

I have yahooDSL BUT my Mail is slower than molasses in january! I call and complain but they keep saying nothing is wrong.

Today I changed over from yahoo.com to sbcglobal.net and tech said it woudl be much faster that way! HA! Still slow.

I have 4 days to decide if I want to continue yahoo (they are offering a higher speed for the same $22.00 a month if I take it for a year) OR SWITCH to Earthlink for the same price IF I take it for a year!

don't know what to do!

Loveallcats, do you have your mail on yahoo too? Do you find it takes forever to get into it and to delete messages?

Cable here. I get 125-channel digital cable TV, digital telephone and Internet for $99.95/mo + taxes - $122.00 total.

Primus accelerated dial-up, 6 times faster than regular dial up

Only one company has high speed in my area and they charge waaay to much

After 6 years of Cable, we moved to the middle of nowhere and have dial-up

We could get satellite internet, if we were staying here, but since we don't know what's up with our landlord, we're kind of stuck. Cable and DSL are not options up here at 8000 ft.

Thank god I have broadband at work!

I have SBC Global DSL. I would lose my mind, if I had to go back to dial up.

Dial up its all I can get where I live unless I wanted to give an arm and a leg to have satelite.

8,000ft??? Cars must be slow up there!

DSL here, and I have no desire to go back to dial-up service. Cable should be available here within six months, so then we'll have to make a decision (we rarely use the phone, or watch television, other than news broadcasts).

Dial up . They do not have cable or DSL in the boonies. Satellite is WAY more that I am willing to pay.

Earthlink Cable via Time Warner, $39.95.

Everyone here is saying that Comcast is really expensive.....how expensive is it??

I'm on cable with Bresnan... and I too think the 20 character rule is annoying. You can't leave a short and sweet message!
