D only does it when someone is coming round, then he frantically rushes round trying to make the apartment look habitable.
With the exception of the grocery shopping (and the fact that he cooks sometimes, leaving huge messes for me to clean up), and the added fact that I am the one who looks at the bills and make sure they all get paid on time (he doesn't check the mail, even), your husband and my bf could be twins. Does the frantic rushing come with complaints about your housekeeping?

I always cook. My husband can't cook to save his life but he does do laundry and clean, so that's good!

Bradley's a great cook (and a budding feminist, though he'd probably never admit it), so we take turns cooking. It's great

Ian recently admitted to his feminism. It was a beautiful day.

HEHEHE My son likes it and he will tell you straight out whether he was a male or a female he would still be who he is and he can not change it. He said if that makes people call me rude names so be it, am happy with myself, besides all the girls love me .. He cracks me up. He is the first to say he is feminine

He's always working on some project or other so he's definitely not a lazy man - we just have our own areas. I honestly prefer him to stay out of my kitchen. (Yes - it's MY kitchen!)
With minor deviations, that about sums up our home, too.

Rob can cook, and quite reasonably. Just as I am perfectly capable of changing a light switch or mowing the lawn. And were we on our own, we'd do the crossover stuff, but why should we, when the partner enjoys it. Teamwork!

I like cooking, but it's soooo expensive to cook "real food" and it's just not worth the effort for 2 people that barely eat anything anyway. So typically Billy cooks the frozen meal in a bag type things, he even does the dishes afterwards!
But I do keep the rest of the house clean and do all the blasted laundry! Now if it's a special occaision and family is coming over, I'll bust out the pots and pans!

I find this amazing. My SIL from Branson, MO and her family eat out all the time - they say it's cheaper than buying groceries and cooking. She spend several hours with her daughter just browing one of our larger chain grocery stores on her last visit to Canada. She said she had never seen anything like it and couldn't believe all the products we had to choose from.

Not so here in Canada. Also, I prefer to make my food from fresh ingredients and nothing with preservatives if I can possibly help it.

If you ask he probably would. the only trouble I have with him is he is a little stud. He walked in Wal-Mart and opened the door for the lady and she just went nuts I said Dakoda you have to watch it (the lady was all over his hair) We don't know these people and am uncomfortable with someone touching you, so we leave he does it again and another lady is all over him o.

No, we rarely eat out, we just buy the pre-made frozen meal things you get in the freezer section at the grocery store. And I would much prefer to cook a real meal, but the stuff in cook books is just insanely complicated. And individual ingredients add up really quick!! Plus, that's a lot of effort for just 2 people that eat like birds... I think once we have children it will be different.

I do all the cooking, but Jeremy is a rather good cook.
He works graves though, and it's kinda hard to get out of bed and cook dinner.
Occasionally though, I'll tell him in the mornings that he's cooking dinner, he just says ok, what am I cooking?

He does criticize "us" for being messy.
I find myself seriously saying "how many times have I told you to put away your clothes, shoes, cups etc". Man, I sound like a nagging housewife!
He's a great hubby, I just want to add. He's always there when I need him, and he's a real team player - he does his share of stuff like with the car, lawn etc.
