My high protein easy meal. Brown 1# hamburger-add chopped onion if desired. When browned add 1 can baked beans-any kind and any amount depends on your bean to hamburger ratio that you want!! Then our on BBQ sauce -again any kind so its kind of saucey!! Top with Cheddar, american or any milder cheese!! You can stir it in or let it melt on top. Very quick and tasty-I bet I've been making this recipe over 20 years!!!

I don't usually use cream of mushroom, but I do sometimes, John doesn't like the mushrooms, so I use cream of chicken instead - but yup, it all turns out really yummy!

Ooooh that sounds super easy. I'll have to try it sometime.

My final decision is chimichangas. I'm going to use leftover chili with leftover tortillas, went and got some lettuce for the plate bed and some avacoda and cheese.

My no work needed reciepe is pasta. You boil pasta in vegtable stock (or a few boulion cubes) drain, toss with butter and balsamic vinagar! I found this one out by accident since I always add a little balsamic vinagar and oil to pasta after I cook it if I want to store it.

Either that or it's soup from a can! Pour into tupperware, add water, heat in mirowave and instant meal!

Well I had never made chimichangas before. I always put so much stuff in the burritors that they fall apart. Not to mention the tortillas were a little old so were a little on the crackly side and smaller. Anyway I managed to get them in the skillet to fry and they turned out wonderful!!! But then my fiance came home late!!! Errrrr. So his food was all cold and I was done eating by the time he came home. I made 4 and we had one left over. When you fry them they sure do stick together better than a burrito!! Partway through making it I thought it was going to be a disaster.

Yes they do because it was like a deep fried burrito

My old standby is very similar to the one posted by babyharley. Take a couple of chicken breasts and a can of soup (any kind of cream soup -- mushroom, chicken, celery, asparagus, etc) and spoon over the top. Sprinkle with parsley and bake for 30-45 mins (depending on thickness of chickem -- you can also pound them flat first). You can also do this in a skillet on the stovetop. in less time. Then just whip up some instant potatoes, or rice and heatup a veggie and you're all set. You can also do it with stuffing (instead of the potatoes or rice). Campbells website (and soup cans) has some other variations to cook it all together (including the rice or stuffing) in one pan. My mom used to make this quite frequently and I do too.

This has been an "easy out" for the last few weeks. Take a few portabello mushroom caps .. scrape out the brown gills. Slice and saute' in butter. When they apear to be cooked add about 3 onces of milk to the pan and continue to heat. In a cup beat an egg yolk and add about 4 onces of milk..mix . add that to the pan and gently heat and stir till thickened. Pour this thick mushroom sauce over some rigatonis. Try adding a drizzle of worcestershire and some white pepper to this if you dare.

One of my favorite things I got from my step-dad! You take hamburger meat brown as desired then mix in your preferance of BBQ sauce. Get the big biscuits in the can (not the flaky kind). Spread out flour on cutting board, flatten biscuit over flour to coat evenly, then spoon meat mixture and wrap biscuit around it. It's kind of like pigs in a blanket, but with ground beef and BBQ sauce! Cook biscuits as directed and WHAM-O BBQ Biscuits!! I could eat these things every day of the week!!!
