OK because im a first time pregnant kitty owner, i know im asking alot of questions, and im compleatly excited.
Anyway, yesterday my cousin came over to check up on Taz. She said her milk was in and the crust on her nipples was dried milk. So i was wrong there. She said maybe a couple more days, my kitty midwife lol.
Anyway late last night she started to try and clean herself. She cant reach there, but she was trying. Now she is aimlessly wandering around the house. She wont lay down and only sits for a moment or so. Usually she sits in a window and basks. Well today, shes also trying to get outside. Is she getting really close or am i just being over anxious again?
thanks
lina

p.s. shes also acting like it hurts whenever i touch her belly. She yowls and runs away. Then comes back and watches me.

Am sure others here would know more, but if you can you can try to clean her a little she might like a good message. Also if she does seem nervous or uncomfortable put her in a room with her nest box and see what happenes. She might be looking for a safe spot. Some here have said that when the kids go to bed there cat deleivers or when they leave the house. Just make sure she can not get out of the room. Confine her she might just want that.

Also, remember that our cats can and do pick up on our stress levels. Try to stay calm, put her in a nice, quiet, dimly-lit room with her nest, her litter box, her food and water dishes and maybe a couple of beloved toys if she has those ... when you start to feel stressed, just remember to breathe.

I put her in my room, where her box was. I put her pan in there a few days ago, and her food and water has always been in there. When i first started fostering her, she couldent get up on the cat condo to reach the food, so i moved it in with the nest box.
She also could no longer fit in the box i had set up for her. So i got a big tupperwear container and put the same stuffing from the previous box in there.
However shes scratching at the door and the carpet like she wants out. Im trying not to be too excited. And im not letting the kids in there. But i think shes scared or upset. Shes 11 months old. At least we know that much about her.

Oh she wont get into the box eather, Shes laying on the floor next to it. Even when i put her in there, she jumps out. Maybe she will have her kittens when we are out for our daily walk or something.

SHe just might have you tried to put a old blanket on the floor in case she has them there. When you go for the walk turn the lights off and shut the door. Might sooth her.
