The Official Survivor Gossip Thread **warning SPOILERS**

Right. I have become a dedicated and wholly obsessed Survivor convert since I started seeing Max. To me it is a top notch `reality' show - because it has a purpose, challenges, strategy, interest etc.

Before you read any further, if you haven't watched there are SPOILERS in this thread!!

We are only up to week 2 here, and Melinda just got voted off. Horribly unfair IMO, particularly when Shane is such an unstable psycho (whatever the reasons). But so far I still haven't made up my mind about him completely - he's interesting, to say the least.

Cerie seems like a lazy troublemaker, and I have no doubt unless Shane does something uber-offensive next week she'll be next.

And oh, I COULD NOT believe Tina was voted off last week. I mean, I think she had a good chance of staying until she said the others weren't pulling their weight, but honestly, what a stupid move. The original `older women' won't last now - uh uh

I know I know - I'm a dag. I tried to delete the thread after I saw the website (although I blurred my eyes so I hardly saw anything...lol) but I couldn't, so that's why I stuck in the disclaimer at the end!

Perhaps it can be the official gossip thread for those in the US??

Oh MY GOSH. I love survivor. I've seen almost every season since Richard Hatch (1st) LOVE LOVE LOVE it. I have some good ideas about who will go to the final three but will wait to talk about it until it is ok. lol I am totally excited!

Ok, so, to revive this old thread - it's finally finished here in Oz and I CANNOT BELIEVE ARAS WON!!! I mean, Danielle was a soulless hack and we hated her, but Aras was almost as bad. Poor old Terry we really, really thought he deserved to win!

LOL, you don't know how badly I wanted to tell you the outcome Sarah, but I kept my mouth shut for once!

I was hoping for Terry too!

Hubby and I were 2 more Terry fans. Although we kind of figured he would be out of it if he didn't win the final 3 immunity challenge. He is too likely to get a lot of votes fromt he jury.

Lol, it seemed like there were a lot of `extremes' for Max and me watching this one. Terry had to have been the best Survivor contestant ever, in terms of his skill and sportsmanship. His rivalry with Aras will go down as one of the best ever. I've never hated a contestant as much as I hated Danielle (and Max was with me) and there has never been anyone as funny as Shane. Although we never wanted him to win, character-wise he was definitely our favourite - what a loon!! Oh, and Courtney was a loopy freak wasn't she??

We really liked Cirie, too. Not at first, but she completely grew on us and was just such a honey. Until she stabbed Shane in the back, but we still liked her after that!! I loved Sally too, she was a darling.

It was a really great series this year. I only started watching a couple of seasons ago and this was definitely the best so far for me!

Did you watch survivor Pearl Island???? I've disliked a few survivors: I really did not like Boston Rob and Amber or Jonny Rotten. I didn't really like Terry. He was too cocky about being good.

My favorites are Rupert and Steph.
