1. What types of music do you listen to?

I listen to all kinds of music, rock, some industrial, country, goth, movie soundtrack scores, 80s metal, some "pop" but not the teeny bopper stuff.

2. How do you "treat" yourself (ie do something special for yourself)?

I used to go shopping, but then we ran out of money!
Now I just spend time with my kitties, playing and snuggling.

3. What are your hobbies?

Cross stitch and some other craft, especially for Christmas prezzies.

4. What was the worst job you ever had?

The last job I had. The work was OK, but the entire office was filled with stress and tension because of office politicing and personality clashes. Life has gotten much better since I am not in that environment anymore.

5. What modern day convenience could you not live without?

Too many to choose from - probably microwave, computer and digital camera.

6. What political subject are you most passionate about?

Gun control (against it) and stupid animal laws (ie pitt bulls are illegal in Denver, and the pitiful animal abuse laws).

7. Have you ever met any celebrities? Who? Who would you most like to meet?

I was a heavy metal babe back in the day! I've met the bands Firehouse, Slaughter, Skid Row, Anthrax, LA Guns, and Queensryche. I would most like to meet Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails and Angelina Jolie.

8. What fashion no-no/fashion trend drives you nuts?

Too many of these, too! I hate the baggy pants that show off their underware. I hate it when girls wear black shoes with an all white outfit (or vice-versa). I really hate it when fat girls go out in these little tiny outfits and don't realize they look really bad. I'm fat too and I know my limits. No one wants to see me in tight clothes.

9. What was your favorite toy as a child?

I had two little stuffed animals that I could take traveling with us, Snoopy and Ducky-poo. Other than them, Barbie was my favorite overall toy.

10. What is the worst band/artist to ever get a deal and record an album?

Motorhead, hands down.

Help me out! What's a question you would like to see in these threads?

I've got a few more up my sleeve :tounge2: .

OMG I loved Weeble Wobbles
They weeble and they wobble but they don't fall down!

Could they be the Fisher Price Little People?

When I wanted to take my Barbies "camping" I would use the Weeble Wobble camper. It was a tight fit, but a little imagination fixed that! I also used the Fisher Price Little People as Barbies babies since they were about the right size.

1. What types of music do you listen to?
I listen to just about anything, not too fond of country. I love alternative bands like Linkin Park, "older" bands like U2, and classical music.

2. How do you "treat" yourself (ie do something special for yourself)?
I give myself the time to do something I enjoy, like reading or spending time with friends.

3. What are your hobbies?
Reading, watching movies, crocheting

4. What was the worst job you ever had?
I worked as a waitress at a nice restaurant, but the owners were so mean! They would yell at us and treat us like stupid morons.
I really did not like working there, it was a relief to be fired. I think I was trying to get myself canned, since I couldn't seem to quit on my own. I was younger and less smart back then.

5. What modern day convenience could you not live without?
Telephone

6. What political subject are you most passionate about?
Education and abortion are very important to me, also the movement to forgive the debt of the extremely impoverished third world nations.
7. Have you ever met any celebrities? Who? Who would you most like to meet?
I have not met any celebrities. I would love to meet Bono, the singer for U2. I really admire him. I would also love to meet Anne Perry, one of my favorite writers, and Kevin Spacey. He seems so funny and intelligent, and I love his movies.

8. What fashion no-no/fashion trend drives you nuts?
Boys/men who wear their pants so loose you can see their boxers and are afraid the pants will end up around their ankles.
This happened to a boy in my class once, I told him he better start wearing a belt or I'd give him duct tape. THe pants have not been a problem since.

9. What was your favorite toy as a child?
I had a stuffed mouse that I carried everywhere, I even chewed its tail off.

10. What is the worst band/artist to ever get a deal and record an album? Hard to say, but I'm not a big fan of the boy bands or the blond girl singers (Britney, Christina, etc.)

Safron, I had to laugh at your pet peeve about socks and sandals. I lived in Germany for about 7 years where it is very fashionable to do this. Its weird if you wear sandals w/o socks!! Anyway, I always hated doing that, but after a while I started to do the same thing. Now that I am back in the USA, I stick out like a sore thumb when I have my white socks and black sandals on!! Oh well, its called CULTURE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL
