Well Skittles has not eaten since yesturday so over 24 hours now. Also she was no where around for 2 hours and I found her in my kids underwear drawer. I took her out and thought maybe she was hungry. NOPE!!! She crawled up on the bed with me and is back to sleep.
What could be wrong. I was going to change her food to Nutro tomorrow gradually because she might be pregnant. I wanted a better quality.

Skittles needs to be examined by her Vet promptly When cats suddenly stop eating for whatever reason, they are at risk for a potentially fatal condition known as Hepatic Lipidosis. By not eating and her behavior change of retreating to a little hide away spot such as your children's drawer, she is indicating she is ill. Please get her to her Vet to be treated as soon as possible.

I am going to call the vet again in the morning, but earlier I called and he said not to worry because she was seen a few weeks ago and was in great health. She also might be pregnant so that is another thing.

That does not make much sense. A lot can happen in a few weeks...

Pregnant or not, she really needs to be examined. Her behavior is indicative of an illness, and not eating is very worrisome. As previously mentioned, this can rapidly become very serious. Please do consider having her spayed, as well once she is back to her healthy self in order to prevent any future unplanned litters. Skittles is such a pretty little girl, please do let us know how her trip to the Vet goes.

SHe has eaten some today. Just not a lot at once. She eats a little then lays around and loves all over me. Then eats a little more then loves all over me again then goes potty which she is a regular and never has diarhea so her potty habits are the same.I will call Vet again in 1 hour. She has not lost weight she has seemed to of gained almost a lb in 3 weeks.

Boy do I just feel like a overly worried mom. Skittles climbed up on the counter and ate her canned food almost all 3oz and almost all of the cup of food. I think she got hungry LOL. I take she was just on a 37 hour food strike

Maybe she has a eating disorder I have no clue. She just keeps me guessing all the time, but I love her.
