seems like a lot of people's cats just had 6 is that weird or is it supposed to be like that, like the most common number?

I think that cat held some sort of special record.

I've heard on this forum of a cat having 9 kittens, and 8 survived. I think that's the most I remember HERE. But I've only been here a year.

Oh, and a year ago tomorrow, my cat had 8 kittens! (she was a feral that lived under the trailer I worked in)

my mil dearly departed kitty flash had 10 when my husband was about 15. All survived, but it took everything outta flash to feed all of those babies.
6 is probably an avarage or something lol.

I have read that 3-5 is average. (LOL, I was actually counting on that being the case, to be honest!) My cat had eight (8) last august and all survived and are doing great, as is their mother!
