Just venting...We are now on day & still no kittens. She (Hope) is just as content as could be. It is soo frustrating waiting. Her vulva has been pink & swollen for week now. I am going to get a few more pics of her as she has gotten huge since the last one. Thanks for listening again lol.

Yes! Those are good signs. Keep a close eye on her. Do you have a nesting area set up for her? (box with old cloths/sheets) I hope this is it

ooooo I am so excited now. I will leave this thread open and just keep refreshing. I will be in the waiting room like impatient family members

With that many kittens you may have to have C-section. Hope things go well and she starts having them. That is a HUGE litter for a cat and there's a good chance not all will survive - you might have to bottle feed - she won't be able to nurse all of them.

Oooooh babies! This is so exciting! Keeping fingies crossed for a smooth, uneventful delivery and fat, healthy, happy babies! I am not going to be around much today (gotta work to keep these bottomless pits of cats in kitten food!) but I will check in tonight when I get home! Until then, remember to breathe, if in doubt call the vet, and .. and ... what am I forgetting???? Oh! Take LOTS of pictures!!! *grin*

Best of luck,

~gf~

You might want to make a trip to the vet now while leaving her in a nice warm quiet area and gather up items to use. Get some of the Auto shop towels. Ask the vet what you will need for the feedings. You can never have to much because anything can go wrong. I plan to get some KMR in 2 weeks if Skittles is 100% sure going to be a mom. I want to make sure they get the same care she gets(which is spoiled rotten)

Any news? I have been looking forward to seeing Hope's babies.
I have had good luck with larger litters. We have had litters of 8 and 9 before that did very well, and grew to be beautiful adults. It is a good idea with any litter to have a supplement, but don't worry too much yet. I hope that everything goes well, and we get some exciting news soon!!
