My little Nikki doesn't seem to want to eat today. I have her dry food out all the time and this morning when I brought her wet food and a little of the KMR she didn't really touch ethier. I don't have any idea how far she is. Can this mean something? Lastnight she ate really well.

It's hard to tell...some cats have ferocious appetites up until they deliver and some cats decide not to eat right beforehand. Given that you don't know how far along she is...I wouldn't rely on her not eating to be a sign that she is impending without first knowing what other signs she is showing.

I just went in to check on her and she took a few little bits of her wet food, I guess that's good. She still hasn't touched her KMR. She just lays on her side next to the toliet. She's really lovey and just has a round belly. That's about all that I can see but I've never done this before.

Will she let you touch her at all?? If so, can you feel any movement?? Can you see if there is hair missing around her nipplies?? She's still in your bathroom correct?

She doesn't mind me touching her. I can't feel any movement though. Her nipples are about 1/4 inch and a little smaller then the size of a dime at the base. I don't know if that helps or not. And yes she is kept in the bathroom.

Yes...that is helpful...it does sound like she still has a little time to go (this is via Gaye per phone). You set her up with a nesting box right?

Do you think you can narrow down the date she might be due. If she is in the bathroom and you have a nestbox in it I would think mother nature will take its course when ready.

I have cut a hole into a diaper box for her. (I hava alot of those around) She goes in it sometimes but likes to lay in front of the toliet. I have noticed her eating again so I guess she just wasn't hungry.

Momof3rugratz- I wish I could even try to narrow down her due date but she is a outside cat and I only brought her in because of her rather large belly.

I guess it's all about waiting now.

I can relate. Skittles was hubbys cat she never even let me near her till March 24 or 25th which is also the day after she had her last stroll outside. I can not even begain to tell If skittles is pregnant, but vet said to give her kitten food and treat her as if she was for a few weeks. If she goes in to heat she isnt and she gets fixed if she is she will have the kits and she and the kits will be fixed between 8-12 weeks. The babies all have hoes and I plan to fix them all so they wont rebreed. Skittles is so lovable. I never knew her fur was so soft and fluffy. LOL she i 11 months old.
