Ok I have to ask what is it with the twitching tail. Sort of near the bum. I noticed Skittles does it alot. it like twitches or shakes like it is cold. Weird.

I have no idea what that is. My cat Rainy does that. but the twitching will start at the base of the tail all the way out to the tip. It's almost as if she would stretch and you know how you can kind of feel a tremble...well thats what it reminds me of. But she can be laying down perfectly still and her tail will do that. Its crazy

Hi,
I too have a cat with the mysterious tail twitch. Ever since we got Uno as a kitten he has what my husband and I can spaz tail. He will be walking around with his tail twitching and almost like his skin is crawling with the creepy crawlies. I asked the vet I work for about it and she said that it is not bothersome or a real problem but that occasionally in a few rare cases that it has been triggered by neurological conditions, but not to be worried, it is usually not that severe. I think that it is cute!!!

Me too she is so cute. I noticed that if I scartch right below the tail on the back it goes nutz. My dad said I found her good spot. Like dogs shake a leg she shakes a tail.
