Ok well this is another Skittle ? I love her to death and man she has done a complete change. She never went near me before or let anyone touch her and now she is lovable. Well the last few night she has to sleep on my pillow right with me. I mean I feel like I will suck her tail up. She is so furry I woke this morning with fur all over it and me. I bearly slept last night because she wasx so clingy. I even took and put her on the floor at least half a dozen times and once I doze off I wake an hour later and she is back. I mean she is right up to me. I think she makes sure she can feel me. If I turn my face over she bearys herself in my hair to get all cuddled up. Why is this. She is acting so strange loving and just weird. I don't want her to suffacte me

When my persian was younger he weighed about 12 1/2 pounds he still weighs that now. But then he used to lay on my chest at night. Two nights I dreamed that I was in the desert in one of those wind storms LOL. I dreamed I was trying to breath hide my face from the blowing sand so I could breath. When I woke up he was right on my chest. So I'm sure I really was having trouble breathing with him on my chest. Some say its just a old wives tale that cats can suffocate a person when they sleep. I'm really not sure about that. I did teach him to not lay on my chest though.

She just seems like she has to lay with me like either on my butt back chest or head. Lately right on the pillow. Weird.

She has to sleep on my pillow, between my legs, on my hips or even my chest. She doesn't do this every night sometimes she sleeps on the couch in my bedroom. She recently had kittens so she has been sleeping with them which I am glad of because she is being a good mommy (even though she will always be my baby).

I don't think she will suffocate you because you will wake up. (brain kicks in an automatic response telling you to breath) but I am sure it is uncomftable, My aries likes to sometimes lay on top of my head!! Besides maybe losing some air for a little while and waking up, or sucking up cat fur down my throat, there has been no case of any cat suffocating someone. (I think I read this in cat fancy or one of my books.) I would maybe worry if the cat was near a baby where they don't have the strenth to move kitty.
