Hi everyone

I have 2 year old kitty who is heavily pregnant.
She was mated the end of Jan (not sure of exact date though) , so it's any day now.
I am slightly concerned as she is not nesting.
We can see and feel the kittens move inside her, she has milk in her teats.
All she's been doing for the past week is taking a few steps and then laying down (typical pregnant woman lol) and eats lots

We have made her a nesting box but she's not interested

Any ideas would be appreciated

These were taken this morning

My cat gave birth early hours of this morning, she didn't nest and i didn't see any milk either, I think this maybe due to it being her first litter.Has your cat had kittens before??

I woke up this morning to find her nursing 3 very healthy kittens on the floor of my kids' bedroom, We didn't know a thing about it.

Have you been in touch with your vet on the matter?? I've heard of cats delivering as late as the 70th day...however it is always good to talk to your vet to determine whether she needs to be seen.

Please remember to keep her strictly indoors until the kittens are weaned and she can be spayed.

She's had the kittens, 3 in all, they are gorgeous

I missed the whole thing though grrrr.

Anyway problem is, shes had them in the dog basket doh

The basket has a cushion in, so I'm letting her keep that and want to put it in the nesting box.
so what is the best way to move her and her kittens?

Is there any reason why she can't remain in the dog basket?? Oftentimes cats find places they feel are safe...can you move the whole dog basket to where you have the nesting box?? She might move them on her own.
