I'm not sure if I should take my boy Orion to the vet. He's a big boy, 18 pounds, but last time he was checked by the vet she said he was healthy. He had a high pH in his urine so he's been on dry food for urinary tract management since that time (almost a year.) I haven't changed his food at all.

Lately over the past month or so he's been vomiting on and off. Some weeks it's been 3-4 times, some just once. I went away last week and the cat sitter said he threw up once. He just threw up a little while ago too. The vomit is always partially digested or barely digested food pieces. He obviously doesn't chew his food. It's generally an hour or so after he eats.

As for his stools....they're sporadically REALLY stinky. It's always pretty stinky since he's very alpha kitty and doesn't cover it; but lately it's been really bad. It seems to have a bit of mucus in it (sometimes) and is sometimes loose, but otherwise normal.

He's acting completely normal as well, no behavioral changes or anything.

Any ideas? I can take him to the vet tomorrow if I need to (although money is always tight...) but I was wondering if anyone had experienced anything like this before?

Thank you!

I havent...but vomitting is never a good thing for a kitty. May be a good idea to head into the vet
