Hi everyone! New here..

This is my first post on this forum. I just discovered this website, and am glad I did, being the cat-"purr"-son that I am! =^.^=

A little about myself: I am originally from Wisconsin; I moved to Texas 4 years ago to be with my ex-boyfriend (didn't work out). At the time I moved here, I had seven cats, but couldn't take them all w/ me. It was not an easy thing to do; I loved all my babies dearly, and regret not bringing them all w/ me to this day . I still have the two that I brought w/ me though; Maverick (a.k.a. Blabs), and Gabriel (a.k.a Nubs). I adopted another one about a year ago; Winchester (a.k.a Evil Knevil, or Evil for short). He's not really evil, just full of it! I also adopted a puppy, Gizmo. He doesn't have his nickname yet, but I'm sure he'll get that honor soon!

I have had cats most of my life, and wouldn't be without them. They provide so much love & enjoyment to my life, and I can't imagine life without them. They are a joy to come home to, and a "purrfect" companion!!

I just wanted to introduce myself, and say hi to my fellow cat-lovers.

Your babies nicknames are cute! Sorry to hear about the 5 you left back in Wisconsin. Do you have plans to see them again in the future?

Yayi, I appreciate your compliment regarding my cat's nicknames. They all eventually get one, depending upon their "purr"sonalities. Blabs (Maverick) got his b/c of his ability to tell me what he thinks , Nubs (Gabriel) got his b/c he gets "nubby" fur clumps, and Evil (Winchester) got his b/c, well, he's just a pistol! (hence his real name Winchester...get it? . All my other cats had nicknames too. As far as making plans to see the ones I left behind are concerned, I do plan on going back on vacation sometime in the future, but unfortunately I won't be able to see my babies; they are all gone now , except for Sterling, and I don't know where he is. The person who took him moved to Missouri, and left him w/ a friend of hers. So I don't know where exactly he is.

Bugaboo1, in regards to your suggestion of posting pics, I would love to be able to do so, but unfortunately I can't. I have WebTV instead of a "regular" computer, and don't have the capability to post pics. My son keeps telling me I need to get out of the "dark ages" and get a "real" computer. I told him anytime he wants to, he can buy me one..LOL!
