49% Dixie. Barely in Yankeedom.

Seems appropriate: grew up in the south but my parents are from NJ, and I lived in NY for five years before moving to IL

29% - Yankee Doodle Dandee.

They call them something besides sneakers? Up in Rochester New York (not near NYC), we have a very successful and popular grocery store called Wegmans. Years ago they created their own pop line called "W-pop". It is officially POP.

What the heck is a crawfish?

Oddly enough, I actually am related to Robert E Lee. But I'm steadfastly from barely the North. Hey, when you're born less than an hour from Kentucky, you can hedge your bets a little.

From the answers I'm a total mix of regionalisms, which makes sense since I was born in Nebraska and grew up and live in Colorado - which is neither Yankee or Dixie.

BTW, the first time I saw a drive-thru-liquor store was in Ohio.

And they're tennis shoes, and you drink POP.

I am 65% Dixie!! Which is funny because my family is from the north and I was born in Texas....but its because I have lived here in alabama since I was 11 (10 years ago).
