Movin' on up!
This being Saturday, I had hoped to sleep a bit later (I don't sleep well, anyway.) No such luck - Pearl's bladder went off,at 4:30 a.m. and I wasn't able to get back to sleep.

As I stumbled through the kitchen, to let Pearl out, I smelled gas. Checked the pilot lights, on the stove - they were all lit and the burners were all off. After opening windows, I called the gas company, to come check it out.

There was a loose connection on one of the burner controls and the gas man fixed it, right away.

I guess I can't be TOO mad at Pearl, for waking me up so early.

Did she advance her internal clock this morning?

Wow! That could have been really dangerous. Glad you caught it before something happened. Gas stoves...I know they are great for cooking but they kind of scare me too.
