Oh they are so sweet! The seals really darken up quicker, huh? Icey (blue point) has only been bred to another blue (mitted) so I didn't have any colors to tell the difference between. This is my first litter where I can get both i'm was worried I would know the difference (well I would some day
) I want your little girl! Trade ya! mine will only be a week or so younger
Any way, has Kiaras' fever gone down? how is she feeling now?

Kiara's kittens turned 2 weeks old yesterday!! All 4 babies are doing great!! They begun opening their eyes on the 10th day. Kiara is doing a wonderful job with them!! We only have to weigh them and enjoy them them, she does everything else!! The kids say they are rolypoly babies!!

Here are some new 2 week old pictures!!

Oh, what little darlins! I love them at that age they are so cute. Mine are only four days, I hope their eyes start to open soon too. I thought I had one starting to look like it might have color (seal) on it's head and thought hmm mabey it's a bi-color, but I could almost see a foot on another that was looking mitted, and I know i'm not going to have mitted and bi-colors, so I have to wait for a while still, since I seem to be seeing things, lol.

Your cats are beautiful. I have a ragdoll mix that I adore. I would love another. You don't happen to live in So. California do you?

Thank you all for the sweet words on the babies!! They loved all their hugs and kisses, as if they could get enough.

I will keep updating the pictures as they grow, it is really neat to see all the changes that happen over the next few weeks. They are still mostly white now, but as they continue growing, the seal (dark brown color) and blue (blue-gray) will start coming in more. The kittens will get full color maturity around age 2.
Here is a picture of Daddy, Berlioz. His name is from the Disney movie, The Aristocats, as well the name is from a very well known French Classical composer, Hector Berlioz. Berlioz is a Seal Bicolor.

His eyes are actually a very nice deep blue, but they didn't show up very well in this picture.

If you are seeing any mitteds, then Dante' isn't a true bicolor. If you are seeing mitteds in a bicolor/colorpoint breeding, then you either have a high mitted, and all the kittens will be mitted....or Dante' is a mid-high white, and he will produce True Bicolors and Mitteds.
The nose leathers and ears are the first to start showing color. If you are beginning to see color on the nose leather and none on the paw pads, then it is a mitted. If the pawpads and nose leather gets color, then it will be a colorpoint. I have noticed that what looks to be a blue at first, can still continue darkening to a seal, when I decide what the colors are in the first 3-4 days.
I look forward to hearing what the patterns end up being. I can't wait to see new pictures!! I am glad to hear they are all doing well!!
Hugs to you and to them!!

What a handsom little stud muffin. He reminds me of Dante' a little, except my boy is young so he looks more like a washed out chocolate right now, lol.
I can't wait for my little four some to get their markings so I know what type Dante' is, i'm not sure, but I think I have 3 seals and 1 blue. Glad the babies are doing so good!
