Im looking to buy a few things to let my babies (Gizmo and Tinkerbelle) know how loved they are. Ive looked at pet stores on the net and ebay and there is so much out there. I thought it best if you guys, if your cats enjoys these things, could let me know a few recommendations for:

1) cat nip
2) cat feeding bowls for several cats (Tinkerbelle will be having babies soon!) - is there one out there for say, for four cats?
3) apart from tags and collars, can anyone think of other personalised treats for cats?

4) Im looking at getting a cat tree. Its amazing how much cheaper they are in the US on ebay. Here in England they are quite expensive. However, shipping costs from the US are expensive too. Maybe any TCS members in the UK can recommend where I can get a cheap cat tree from?

Have a good day!!!

Catnip is great once theyre old enough. Some cats just don't respond to it, some go crazy, and some (like mine) get really calm!
I just have regular old stainless steel bowls. Stay away from plastic, for all kinds of reasons.
Some cats love cat beds. Others couldn't care less. I've yet to see one that could resist a windowsill bed though!

I dream of one day having a floor-to-ceiling cat tree. *sigh*

You don't need to buy them stuff for them to know theyre loved though!

Yes I know there are many ways to show your cat love and buying accessories for them is not the important one!

Thanks for the advice! Im keen to try out the cat nip. On a Richard Attenborough documentary on cats, he showed cats going crazy for natural cat nip as if they were on a high!

Get a kitty fountain. Mine took to it right away and besides being fun it encourages them to drink more water.

My cats are mostly fed out of small corelle bowls, don't know if they have them in the UK, but they are basically lightweight ceramic bowls that don't break very easily and are pretty cheap.

Loving my beautiful baby girl
Isn't it so much fun spoiling our babies!
You may want to check out Catnip, etc. They have quite a vast array of catnip products! Although you mention seeking something personalized besides collars, this is where I order my girlies' embroidered collars!

I second the idea of a fountain. Sierra and Serenity really enjoy their Drinkwell! Their dishes are clear glass bowls, and Sierra has a little elevated stand so she's more comfortable by not having to bend over so far during her meal.

Perhaps your babies would enjoy personalized blankets, pillows, or beds! How about a special place mat with their names on it?

I know that my next "spoil the kitties" project is to make them a fleece blanket. I got my husband a fleece robe for Christmas, and I should have addressed it To: Earl and Ophelia, since she uses it as much or more than he does!
She LOVES napping on the fleece!

If you get catnip I recommend organic, that's the only kind my cats like and even then only 3 of the 7 react at all.

Honeysuckle spray..... mine acts like she has just been given an IV of valium. I spritz it on windows shelf beds and she just adores it.

she also like catnip bubbles , its the bubbles that intrigue her not the catnip.

but the thing she likes the most is just the attention of someone playing raucously with her for ten minutes and then rubbing her favorite spots when she gets tired and telling her in a soft voice what a perfect little abi she is. and long slow blinks while she purrs and melts into a puddle of sleepy catness.

The catnip you want is the stuff by Ratherbee, called World's Best Catnip. All other forms of the herb pale in comparison. Really, the stuff is amazing!

I bet they'd love one of those windowsill seats... you don't actually have to buy one made for that purpose; it's possible to simply buy a table or chest of drawers that goes up to the right height, and put some carpeting on top.

Oh, and try cat-safe bubbles... I bet they love chasing those
The cat I took care of last summer was absolutely crazy over them--it was a game of "pop all the bubbles before they hit the ground"! Of course I got good at blowing bubbles, too; and what can I say--they're fun for the owner too! (Play on carpet--linoleum gets slick if too many bubbles pop on it).
