A regular price for a pet quality bengal is $500-$1000. Sometimes you can get retired breeders for less as well.

That would depend on where your located, what quality of a bengal you want and if your going to breed the cat or not. Lower end pet quality usually sells for $500.00. Higher end pets up to $1000. (like Natalie said)
It is not unheard of high-show quality bengals going for more then $4000.00 (on rare occasions)though.
I know a breeder in Canada who has a long waiting list of breeders waiting to get kittens as breeders from her for $3500.00 and it costs $200.00 just to be on the waiting list.
If you let us know where your located, we might be able to connect you with a good breeder in your area.

I concur with what the other bengal breeders have told you. I have sold top notch pet quality bengals for as much as $1500. (rare, maybe one per year) It's usually more difficult for me to place marbled kittens, so I will sell them for $500 to $600.
Like bengalbabe said, pricing varies quite a bit by state and location.

Thank you for the information. I am just looking for a bengal as a pet, not for show or to breed. Just need a friend for my other cat.

I am located in Southern California, USA. If you know any breeder around this area, please let me know. Also, if you can let me know what to look for in a bengal, that will be great. Thank you again for all of your help. Thank you.

Try Christine Dahleen at www.calcatta.com. She is a very ethical breeder, tests her cats regularly for HCM, and is fair in pricing. Tell her FengShui Bengals referred you to her. She is located in Bakersfield.

Chris does have an older kitten, a silver girl for adoption for $100.00! that's the way to go if you want a older kitten/cat. I think she's getting close to a year old now.
Chris will also have lots of kittens born later this month. Im going to check them out myself on my way down to LA next week.

I live in Los Angeless, I paid $1000 for Simba. However, they wanted $1500 for him, and I talked them down. My boy is from a breeder in the San Fernando Valley.
