ewwwwww!
Don't you worry about mad cow if you're in the US since we hardly test for it anyway though? Does the company you've been getting it from test for everything?

Could you tell what animal the teeth, claws were from? Thats just so gross! I probably would have lost my lunch!

That's... disturbing. This is why I've been dilligent about choosing the company who's raw I feed. I've considered asking to take a tour of their facilities even, but it's a few hours out of my way.

I thought I was ... it is meat from a USDA plant supposedly human grade... it has the inpection seal but unlike the food I get from the vet , this food come s in white packaging ( supposedly to keep from light expousure) instead of clear that I would have likely seen this thing

So it was a different food than the one you get at your vet? I musta missed that
I was going to comment that I'd be having words with the vet, and been hesitant to pick up the rabbit! But I get why you did that now

yeah I get most of it from the vet but she only gets rabbit and chn that is meat with bones ... chn with organs and veggies and tripe/// this other company has exotic meats like quail and buffalo that I was tring to give a bit of variety but I think I would rather risk online ordering than find claws or teeth

Perhaps you shoudl threaten a lawsuit? Maybe then they would reconsider their quality control and answer you when you ask them a question? Especially depending on what sort of teeth or claws they were...
The USDA is regulated more by the industry than they are by law, incidentally. A lot of them either were once in the business or become part of it after a few years in the gov, so their approval is really meaningless.

especially since it's supposed to be human grade - what if you had decided to eat it yourself?

sharky, have you Hare Today raw products? They have an EXCELLENT selection of raw products. From pheasant carcasses to ground goat to mutton bones to green tripe. Everything! I order my pet's raw stuff from there. They do also have ground rabbit, with fur or without, because it looks like you like the rabbit. Here is the website:http://www.hare-today.com/ Good luck!
