Where was your kitty born?

I do not know where Sissy and Buddy were born. I got them by answering an ad in the paper. The kids, (Scamper, Stinker and Princess) were born behind our entertainment center. Sissy surprised us. I didn't think she was ready to deliver yet. Bonnie and her brother, Clyde (rb) were born in the laundry room of my old apartment complex. Someone just dropped the mom off , so our friend, who was the apartment manager) took the mom in and had her confined to the spare bathroom to raise the babies. I have no idea where Kiki (rb) was born. Her mother was a neighbor's cat at an apartment complex we lived at over 20 yrs ago. Kiki's mom was simi feral and came home with 2 kittens following. After Kiki's brother was hit by a car, I was slowly able to tame her. She lived quite happily as a house cat for almost 20 years.

Cindy and Fawn were born somewhere in the general neighbourhood of my sister-in-law's home (semi-rural) to a feral Mom who was killed by a car. The woman who actually found them could not keep them and was put in touch with the woman who fostered them.

Suzy and Sam (RB) were the last of an accidental litter that the same sister-in-law heard of just when we were about to look for kittens. As far as I know they were born in a box in a rundown trailer.

Gryphon (RB) was an Ontario barn kitten, and Nibs(RB) came from a breeder in Ontario. From his first human's description of this breeder, it probably was a BYB.

Shasta(RB) was born in the home of a friend of a friend, to a momcat who was spayed soon thereafter. It was that spaying and the human telling her friend (my friend who knew I was about ready for a kitten) that her cat was mad at her and why ("...by the way, know anyone who wants a couple of kittens?" "Maybe..."), that brought Shasta into my life.

Meeka was born on the breeders lap.

Zissou is a mystery cat. I think she was born somewhere outside sometime in June around here, but other than that I have no idea at all!

Pudge was born under a shed.

I don't know where Ace was born, but I do know that my husband's aunt and uncle found him while they were camping at Roaring River. He was just a tiny thing, standing on rocks in the shallows and yowling. Pepsi was born (or at least, was found at three months old) feral behind a car wash. Skittles was also born feral, we think, although he was so very very tiny when his mother was killed by a car that he was bottle-raised and is not feral in the least. I don't know where Ozzy was born; he was another "found by the side of the road" kitten. Whitey, Tubby, and Smidge were born in our living room.

Gracie, I assume, was born in Louisiana. She behaves like a cat who was completely home-raised, but then, so do a lot of our strays.

Raphael was born into a colony somewhere in CHicago, I THINK on the far-north side.

Leonardo...haven't a clue. I'm assuming it was in the area though...

Lola (RB) was born in an alley in Edgewater/Andersonville

I don't know where Danny was born. He was grown when I got him. Two of my parents' cats Felix and Oliver "the Lads" were born under a state prison! A friend of my mother's who works there (something to do with computers) spent two-plus hours crawling around to find the litter after the mother was found dead. Felix and Ollie were bottle fed by my mother and their sisters went to another friend.

Of my four cats, I only know where one of them was born. His name is Seti and I got him from a friend. I was at her place the night he was born.

My friend had cleaned out a closet and placed towels on the floor. She showed the mama kitty this spot numerous times during her pregnancy.

Well, one night I was at her house along with a pretty big group of friends. We were watching the movie Excalibur when mama kitty comes in and distinctly announces to her person, my friend, that she is now going to her pre prepared closet hide away to give birth ... we all quietly followed her upstairs and waited outside the room where the closet was located.

Seti was the first born and the largest of the litter. I saw him everyday after his birth and marked each one off on my calendar until the day I would be able to take him home!

Maverick was born under my friends bed an Jupiter was born on my lap!

I have no idea where Samwise was born, as he just showed up on my cousin's porch one day.

Gandalf on the other hand was born in my cousin's bathroom. I'll never forget the first time I saw him, he looked like a big grey mouse and stole my heart in an instant.

We all have such special kitties. I would so much be at home with them than here at work. I hate Mondays!

Katrina was Born in Ohio. Aurora was born in Washington state. Lil roar was born in our home in Ohio. Cinnamon was born in Florida and Tommy boy in Texas.
Amber and Boris were born in Montana, but not sure where Nakoma was born. He is a rescue from the state of New York. Carmelo was born in Virginia.
