Yes it does!, i forgot that one as well
You can tell someone who smokes later on in life with the lines around their mouth.

I use makeup but the old wives tale of wearing makeup gives you spots is false, it's not taking it off before bed that gives you them, or if your skins has a reaction to the makeup itself

I'm 19, so ask me in 30 years.

I always admired a lady at the eye doctor. She has long, gravy, wavy hair(down past her shoulders). She put on minimal makeup & still looked very pretty.

I voted for aging gracefully. I wear make-up, use hand cream constantly (dry hands) and moisturizer when I think of it, and just figure I'll have to live with whatever wrinkles or sags show up. After constantly changing my hair color in my teens and early twenties, I don't feel any need to color my hair. I have a bit of gray, but actually very little in comparison with other people my age, or younger. When it goes gray, it goes gray. I actually think that gray hair is more flattering to a wrinkled face than an unnaturally dark tone.

Well... I have a patch of white hair from a scar on my head, but other than that, I look about 16. I get carded buying lottery tickets on the occasion that I do.
I'm 21 and my sister is 30, and people ask us who is older and what high school we go to. My mom is 60 and looks about 40, all she does is lighten her hair so the silver blends in with the blonde. Hopefully I'll follow the trend!
I'd say never tanning is a good way to go... but all the women in my family get skin cancer, so it isn't very hard not to!

Uh-oh...another of my "regimen" flaws! I sleep with my makeup on almost every time I wear it! I'm too tired to go through the hassle....

Hi Heidi!
I work in a nursing home and I see the problems the very elderly face every day. So I guess I want to fight certain aspects of the aging process as much as possible since I've heard some of these problems are preventable. I'm making positive llife style changes now, and I hope I can stay phyically active, as well as stay both mentally and physically healthy as long as possible in my later years.

Right now I'm doing it gracefully. I did have to inherit the early graying form my Dad's side of the family, darn it!

"Platinum" (silver/gray) hair, if it is well cared for, can look gorgeous.

A healthy body, mind and spirit is the key to aging gracefully and never take yourself to seriously.

I agree with what Rosiemac says!!! I notice aging in faces-esp for those who tan alot!! As I am a twin and I always had a desk job and my sis spent more time outside and tanning all the time-that tanning has taken a toll on her face!!
What I want to prevent is the "middle aged" spread!!

I had a wonderful example of aging gracefully in my Mum. She used only mild soaps and creams, little makeup, etc. Her skin was lovely right to the end, with relatively few wrinkles. As for hair, she was auburn in her youth, but I never saw it. She was alreaady mostly white by the time I noticed. It was lovely, and she was forever being complimented on it.

I started to get grey hairs in my late teens, and since pretty much everything else to do with appearance and physical attributes came from her side of the family, I knew then that I was headed down the same road, and haven't fought it. At 58 my hair is white, and has been for at least 15 years, and people comment on how few wrinkles I have.

A woman I know, who is in her mid-70s I guess, coloured her hair for all of her adult life, because her mother had maintained that a woman should never, but never, show her grey hair. When her mother died, still colouring right to the end, this woman decided that she had had enough of that, and let her hair colour grow out over one summer. The change was stunning -- it took probably 15 years off her face, and looked so much softer.

Orig. from Texas.. Currently in Minnesota (again)
since my hair is black i wouldn't mind the frew gray hairs that i have IF they were white and all in the same place i think that would be kinda cool to have a solid white "streak" in my hair but alas they are scattered and im only 28 lol so coloring my hair it is but as for anything else im not doing anything "extra" or out of the way.

I've always been lucky, I have looked much younger than my real age for most of my life, and for the most part, have been aging like my Sicilian grandmother, who always (IMO) looked about 20 years younger than she was.

My one decision was to not let my hair color change, not until I feel ready, so I do color my hair now. Unfortunately, everything changed a lot once I lost about 73 lbs....its let my eyelids slide, and more wrinkles show
I *may* someday go for an eye tuck, but mainly because I want to be able to keep seeing well and not have my upper eye lids totally collapse!

ugh!

I voted for gracefully, but I'm only 28 too, I get carded all the time. I use eye cream to help prevent those "crow's feet" but my skin is soooo oily I'll probably never get a wrinkle. I don't know about coloring my hair, depends on how early I go gray, my Dad is 56 and he has a little gray, mostly he's losing it
and my Mom colors so I don't know how much she has
