Hi Hi!
So yesterday I took chester out for his first walk since snowfall. He's been itching to get out, due to the large amount of birdies and bugs that need to be chased. I put the harness on and off we went!
"Ready mom!"

He jetted down the stairs with a mission in mind

We did some exploring

And pleanty of digging in the fresh dirt!

"but mom!!! there's more birdies on THAT side of the fence!"

We saw some pretty flowers, and left our mark in the remaining snow.

Then, when he was all tuckered out, it was time to come back in for scritches and a snack.

What an exciting day for Mr Chester!

I bet that was fun
He's a cutie. I have 1 that dad takes out every morning and every evening , he likes to climb up on the retaining wall and walk all the way from one end to the other then back, and then he's satsified.

Chester's first Spring walk pictures are adorable.

I would frame his "footprints in the snow" picture.

*snickers* chester did you know your cousin teufel can barely fit into his harness anymore?
Doesnt really matter as they dont like to wear it anyway but Chester looks like he has had so much fun!

hehe! Tuefel! Sounds like you've gained back that weight you lost this winter
There was a point yesterday where I turned around and chester was sitting -next- to his harness. I'm just glad he didn't realize what happened, otherwise I'd still be up a tree after chester who would be after a birdie
It was good times for all

Great pictures! He looks like he really enjoyed it

Abby also went on her first spring walk yesterday, but I didn't have the camera out.

Great pics and captions. I tried harness training my kits, but they were all terrified of being outside. Just as well because I was terrified too that they'd get loose!

hehe, thanks! That first picture of him at the door was really hard to take, since he wouldn't stop mewing at the door. I was pretty surprised actually, after a whole winter he still knew "harness means outside time". Also, you'll notice he's not looking at me in any of the pictures, I think he was embarrassed to have "mom" walking around with him and was worried the other kitties would see.
Either that, or he was too darn interested to let me get in front of him for a good shot.
It was raining today, so no walks, but we did have the sliding door open most of the day so they could watch the birds and hear them. Much sniffing commenced!
