Megacolon

I'd like to hear anyone's experience with surgical repair of Megacolon in their cat. Primarily how successful the procedure was and if their cat was able to maintain control of their bowel movements afterward. Also, how much cost was involved with pre and post surgery and the surgery itself. Thanks!!!!
