Second interview

As you know I resigned from my job (with much sobbing and crying) a few weeks ago, and now Iâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]m on the look-for-a-job roundabout!

I went for an interview on Tuesday night. Itâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]s for another doctor, as a PA, and Iâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]d really like to get this job as the work looks very interesting, and Iâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]ve heard he pays top dollar.

They said that they were doing second interviews next week, and I was very confident about this.

I sent them an email today just to touch base, and to say I was keen and looking forward to seeing them next week, although they hadnâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]t formally asked me back.

Well, I got an email back thanking me and saying could I come back tomorrow?

Do you guys think thatâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]s a good sign??

Well, that went extremely well!! He told me that I was `by far the clear stand out of all the applicants' and please not to accept any other jobs before the end of next week, because he `didn't want to lose me to the competition'. They are still going through the formal process, though, so I'll expect a decision by the end of next week.

I am reasonably confident, but still not completely. I don't want to jump the gun, and it seemed that he may have thought I was perhaps a little OVER qualified (nooooooooo!!).

I made it clear, though, that I was very keen (without being too pushy) so we'll have to see how it goes! I'm keeping everything crossed

Btw Danielle, Jazzy has the most fabulous eyebrows!! Are they for real?? I would kill for eyebrows like that!

Well that seems extremely promising to me! It sounds like they really want you or it would be very unprofessional of them to ask you not to accept another job.
