I am attending my first cat show this weekend!

I am SO excited to be able to come here and share with you all since I know you will appreciate my excitement!!! lol We will be attending the Fort Wayne, Indiana Cat Show tomorrow. I have never been to one before! Hopefully I will love it as much as I think I'm going to and will be actually participating in them in the not-too-distant future. It ended up when I printed out the map, the show is 3 hours away , so we've called and made hotel reservations for tonight. I want to be there bright and early in the morning so I don't miss a thing!

Who here have been to or participate in cat shows? What do you particularly enjoy while you are there? Any advice (besides not touching the cats! ) on how to get the most out of our day?

Cat shows are a lot of fun to watch and to participate in. They can be a little slow at times if you are there all day. Most people don't know that in most associations, they have a household pet division. I think the best part is talking to other cat lovers

I want to enter Asim into the house hold division I have for 2 years now, But I don't have the time, money or the know how to go about it yet.

I want a cat show here, in my home town, not at old dominion, not in baltimore! And I wanna go with some one... my fiance would never come to a cat show, only a dog show.

I went to a CFA cat show a little while ago. I didn't actually participate in it though. We were gonna enter Vader into the household pet catagory, but never did. It was sooooooo fun!!!
