I mix tuna with mayo and toss in chopped celery. Gives it a little "crunch". Add salt and pepper and you're good to go...

The only way I can eat it though is not at home. I would get mobbed if I even tried. Tuna is not for humans, so I've been told. It's for kitties.

The cats house, we just pay the mortgage..
I never liked Tuna, even when I ate meat like 11 years ago. I can't even remember what it tastes like now but the I think I would gag.
I don't like the smell of fish. Mark likes tuna though and he mixes it with mayo. Occasionally if I'm in a good mood I will do it for him, and let the cats eat some too because if I didn't they would never speak to me again.

Susie, tinned tuna is lovely with a tomato based pasta sauce!! I do it a lot as an easy tea!

When I make tuna sandwiches, I add mayo or salad cream, seasoning, sweetcorn, finely diced onion, finely diced red and green peppers and generally a bit of celery!

Why, oh why did I open this thread while I'm hungry? That sounds too good!

I generally hate tuna...with one exception...there is a gourmet deli down the street from here that makes a tuna salad I just love. I have NO idea what they put in there that makes the difference.

I love tuna! I make my tuna salad with mayo, a tiny bit of mustard, some dill pickle relish, minced onion, a little celery salt, and freshly ground pepper. It's soooo good.

I don't eat it more than once a week, though—mercury.

Probably at work :(
Wrong...I don't eat tuna. Used to when I was a kid. I do not like seafood of any kind, although I try a bite of fish every now and then and sometimes like it--swordfish is pretty decent--but I can't get past the mental thing that tells me its fish. I got a bad piece of fish in high school once, (wasn't done), and now I'm ruined for the rest of my life. I swore it off that day and haven't re-aquired the taste since.

Funny, we had tuna steaks for dinner.
I marinate them in sesame oil and soy sauce, then sear them on a hot pan. I served it with white rice for hubby, steamed asparagus, and a salad of cucumbers and avocado with sesame seeds, sesame oil and seasoned rice vinegar.

Ok, have you ever had tuna mixed with mashed hardbolied eggs on ritz crackers?? mmmmm...

And my boys LOVE tuna to death. Everytime KC hears a can opening he runs into the kitchen and stands with his paws on the counter (which looks slightly awkward for him because he's a big boy). Sherm just discoverd it the other day while I was giving KC a fingerfull. He hasn't quite learned how to lick though and merely ate my finger.

I love those "Lunch to Go" meals that Starkist makes! It comes with a pouch of tuna, reduced-fat mayo, relish, a little spoon, a napkin, and a mint. http://www.starkist.com/template.asp...lunchtogo.html

Generally I'll mix tuna with mayo and relish and put it on bread or crackers. I love tuna casserole too. The kitties go nuts for tuna. I think they can smell it from the other side of the apartment, because they always comes running.

That's funny I hate mayo too, I will only eat it in tuna, and the only seafood I will eat is tuna in a can only. I get it some times in olive oil, if I don't want it with mayo,(I usaully use miricle whip though, not mayo) or if I only have the water kind then I use italian salad dressing.

(I generally have to open two cans though, half for me and 1 and a half for my 4 cats)
