Isn't it funny how getting called by our full and real name does sometimes make us feel like the person is being assertive with us.

My daughters name is Katie and that is EXACTLY why we named her "Katie" and not Katherine (a family name) is because we didn't want her to be called Kathy for short. We wanted her to be called Katie, so we figured the only way to be sure of that is just name her Katie.
