I say trolley
I call them carts, shopping carts, and baskets.
Grocery cart here. I've never heard them called trolleys before.
Shopping cart or basket, unless your talking about that other metal thing with wheels that I put my groceries in, my car.

Here there are two options depending on how much groceries you intend to buy. If you need only a couple things that you use a basket and then if you need alot you get a shopping cart.

I call them carts now, but when I was a kid, my mother called it a wagon.
Older Southerners refer to them as "buggies".
I call them buggies. I am a southerner, so like the previous post, that must be why I call them that.
Im from Ohio and i call them carts, but i moved down south and they call them buggies

In New Zealand they are called Trundles!!

Another vote for buggies. Even the signs on the holder thingies in the parking lot say thank you for returning you buggy and not responsible for damages done by buggies.
