We all must not have much to do if this is a topic of discussion!!!
But if the "cart" is left in a parking shop and not return to the proper place I call it something else!!

Here there are two options depending on how much groceries you intend to buy. If you need only a couple things that you use a basket and then if you need alot you get a shopping cart.

Oh, yes well - same here. I think it's the same just about everywhere..?
But I was just talking about the shopping carts though

I call them carts now, but when I was a kid, my mother called it a wagon.

Call them trolleys

In New Zealand they are called Trundles!!

Cash register (in Aus), Till, Checkout - All the same thing!

Another vote for buggies. Even the signs on the holder thingies in the parking lot say thank you for returning you buggy and not responsible for damages done by buggies.
