Hey everybody!!!!


In case you haven't heard, Tara is pregnant!!!!! I am so excited, I have tears in my eyes at work just reading Tara's thread from last night. I can't wait to be a daddy.

We really appreciate all of the support that you're all giving us!!

Things are touch and go with the new cat in the house.

Bootleg is just so precious! He's a charmer, that's for sure!

Today is a gorgeous day in Toronto! I was able to wear just a sweater this morning and not a coat. It was about 4 C when I left this morning (about 39 F) and it is going up to 10 C (50 F). It is finally spring!

I am having a girl's night out tonight (just dinner, but hey I don't get out anymore). John and Kevin are having a boy's night in. They will probably go to the park again. They were there for an hour yesterday. Kevin got to run around and play with other kids and dogs. He just loves animals!

Tara told me last night on Messenger - I was crying when she told me!

She told me that you guys had a boy name picked out, but not a girls! I told her that Emma was cute - she liked that - but you didnt!

I'm so thrilled for you guys, I know that you will both be awesome parents!

You can use the girl's name I was going to use, but since we are having a boy can't - Robyn Allison

I have been getting insurance and car tags all set up for the Prelude. All of that is good to go as of right now. Lee and I are arguing over who gets to choose the paint color! (Lots of sun damage and other paint damage) I want to keep it black and put House of Kolor smoke flakes in the paint. Who knows what he wants to do with it!! He says house of Kolor is to expensive!

House of Kolor IS spendy! We use it here on some cars, eek!

You could tell it was girl car then! I love pink!

I think you should paint it dark, dark blue and get some good looking chrome rims.


Or paint it Flamenco (sp?) black.

He he It came with 2 aftermarket sets of rimes (both a little sraped up becasue someone obviously likes curbs )

I don't have to have the paint itself be HOK but I want their smoke flakes in whatever paint we get. It will just be easier to paint it black again plus it looks good black. He thinks this is oging to be HIS project but its my car and I make the final decisions.... sorry for him!

my fav paint combo is black cherry with a pearl green clear coat its beautiful!!

Other that HOK what are some quality brands of auto paint? I know dupont has good paint but they don't have a lot of shades listed on the web.

We use Dupont paints here at work We use HOK for specialty things like flames and what not

We have lots of colours!

I guess it doesn't matter about the shades since we are going to go black but they don't make like the flakes and all the pearls like HOK do they? I am so glad I can ask you questions about this stuff and get honest answers!!


EDIT:I meant to ask about clear coats too. Is it better to go with a more expensive clear coat?

Dupont makes pearls and stuff like that! We have all different shades of colors and pearls too!

And the clear coats? More expensive better quality one right??
I will have to keep searching for Duponts pearls and stuff! Thanks Mackenzie!!
