Well, sometimes I really should listen to Max. He told me not to wear a particular pair of sneakers taking the doggies for a walk. He told me the last time I wore them that I complained. I couldn't remember, so I told him he didn't know what he was talking about, and wore them anyway.

20 minutes into our walk my heels have blossomed with the biggest, juiciest blisters you've ever seen. I am not saying a thing. Max cannot be right.

5 minutes later one of them bursts, whilst I am still wearing the shoes, and now the heel of the shoe is rubbing against the BURST blister. I am in agony, I can't walk - there's still 20 minutes till we get back to the car!! I am still not saying a thing - Max has noticed I'm walking a little strangely. He is very wisely not saying a thing either.

Now, two days later, I still cannot wear closed shoes. The blisters are huge.

Lesson? Listen to your beloved boyfriend.

Yes, darn it. I have this weird guilt-o-meter that makes me confess to any wrongdoing...
He laughed whilst also empathising with my huge wounds

Oh - blisters suck! I got some on Feb 13th that are still in the process of healing. Got them on my 1st day at the new job and they were horrid and bleeding and yucky. You have my sympathy!
