Hi, The other day I got a new game control for the computer. Well last night I was playing a drag race game for a while and Tuffy was on the bed being his normal lazy self. After about a hour of me playing the game Tuffy jumps up by me to look out the window so he does this for a while, {I have my puter by the window in our bed room}then he turns around and starts chewing on the levers and buttons on the game control while I am trying to play my game, I gently push him out of my way a couple times and he looks out the window some more. He then turns and bites the cord from the control and pulls it right out of my hands.

Was he thinking that I messed with my game long enough and its his turn for my attention? I have never seen him act like this before. I put my game away and he climbed on my lap in the chair and I petted him for a while and he was fine and left me alone. I have noticed lately he gets a funny look on his face if I give allot of attention to any of the other cats in front of him. Is it possible that he gets jealous?

I have had cats for most of my life and they still amaze my at times at what must be going on in there little heads. I am starting to agree more and more that they are allot smarter than most people think.

It's always a pleasant surprise at the things they do to get our attention.

My QT if she's not happy with the way I pet her, she'll headbutt me real hard on my side (where I am ticklish). Of course I end up laughing and giving her a big hug (and a big kiss on her head)which was what she wanted in the first place.

Yes, your baby wanted your attention...definitely. I always laugh when my husband's trying to read, and Sunny or Hobbes will decide it's time he stopped, and lay on the book, or head-butt his hand, and they won't stop until he pets them. It's funny, too, because most of the time my husband will be stubborn about it, and continue to try to read...until I tell him, "Oh, just PET the poor thing!!" Then he HAS to put the book down. Majority rules!! LOL!!

That's too funny that Tuffy snatched the controller right out of your hand!
