My flatmate Michaela's mother was named Sesheta Gray. "Gray" was the name given her by her first Homo sapiens family, who had to bring her to the county's animal shelter (though I can't recall why).

When she came home to live with me, I named her "Sesheta." Sesheta (also called Seshet) was the ancient Egyptian goddess of books and history-writing.

Here is my friend Sesheta:

Although she's no longer here amongst us, we shall never forget her. She is the wisest cat I've known.

What a sweetie. She looks as if she were very wise, I guess there is a certain quality in her eyes. I'm sorry she is no longer here.
